Position: Cook (Takeaway Kitchen)
Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $26 - $30 per hour

At Carlisle Takeaway and Convenience Store, we’re committed to serving tasty, fresh food
fast with opening hours Monday to Sunday between +am-8pm! We’re currently looking to expand our food options and looking for a dependable and
efficient cook to run our one-person kitchen. This role is perfect for someone who’s confident handling all aspects of a busy takeaway kitchen—from prep to packing—on their own.


Key Responsibilities:
 Prepare, cook, and package all takeaway menu items.
 Manage the kitchen independently, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
 Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.
 Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies when necessary.
 Ensure all food safety and health regulations are followed.
 Occasionally interact with customers or delivery drivers when required.


Requirements:
 Previous experience working in a takeaway or fast-paced kitchen of at least one year.
 Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
 Excellent organizational skills and time management.
 Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen equipment.
 Self-motivated, reliable, and efficient.
 Able to work flexible hours including weekends and late nights.
 A full drivers license would of an advantage.
