**About the Role**
Qualcomm is looking for energetic, creative, and self-driven engineers to work in Modem, Multimedia, Connectivity, Computer Vision, Image Processing, software implementation, and hardware acceleration. The role involves technical analysis, modeling, software and hardware development, and collaboration with multiple engineering teams to deliver advanced SoC products and technologies.
• *Responsibilities**
- Perform detailed technical analysis and problem solving.
- Translate ideas into models, software, and hardware implementations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and deliver products.
- Contribute to SoC and subsystem development activities.
- Work on hardware design, validation, verification, and optimization.
- Support innovation across wireless and connected technologies.
• *Areas of Work**
- SoC & Hard Macro Physical Design.
- SoC Validation & Debug.
- RF & Analog Layout.
- RF/Analog/Mixed Signal/Power IC Design.
- Low Power Design.
- Board and FPGA Design.
- Digital ASIC Design.
- Design/SoC Verification.
- CAD Solution Engineering.
- Design for Test (DFT).
- CPU Design.
• *Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- Educational background in Electrical Engineering, VLSI, Embedded Systems and VLSI, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- Knowledge of SoC verification involving embedded RISC/DSP processors and communication ASICs.
- Experience with Verilog, VHDL, C/C++, Tcl, Perl, or Shell scripting.
- RTL design experience and/or object-oriented programming knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
• *Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge of wireless or wired communication protocols.
- Knowledge of graphics, video, or multimedia systems.
- Experience with PLL, LNA, OpAmp, CMOS, ADC/DAC, Cadence, SpectreRF, or Layout in RF/Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design.
