Master Pools Alta Ltd. is seeking a Pool Plumbing Apprentice/Installer in Edmonton, AB. The role involves constructing PVC systems, installing pipes, and assisting with pool installations under a foreman. Candidates must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and a personal vehicle for travel. The position offers formal training in pool mechanical design and requires teamwork and problem-solving skills. Travel to various job sites across Western Canada is necessary.
We specialize in designing and constructing commercial and municipal aquatic facilities throughout Western Canada, partnering with General Contractors to build the largest swimming pool structures and mechanical systems. Our team combines skills from plumbers, carpenters, engineering technicians, and general construction experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work under a site foreman to construct PVC mechanical systems within mechanical rooms.
• Install large diameter PVC pipe and small diameter pipe and tubing for water chemistry systems.
• Assist with pool tank and pool finishes installation as needed.
• Observe safe work procedures and protocols, project schedules, and follow directions from the foreman.
Requirements:
• Possess a Valid Class 5 Operator's Licence and acceptable driver's abstract.
• Hold a personal vehicle to travel to job sites (out-of-town projects are paid for by Master Pools).
• Work efficiently in a team environment.
• Present general mechanical aptitude and independent problem-solving abilities.
