As a Junior Officer - Legal, you will assist in ensuring that the organization complies with all legal regulations and policies. Your role will involve supporting the legal team in drafting agreements, managing legal documentation, and addressing legal queries. Key Responsibilities
Legal Support:
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide inputs on various legal and regulatory matters.
• Support the preparation of notices, replies, and correspondence related to legal issues.
Compliance Management:
• Maintain and update records related to statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely submission of compliance-related documents.
Litigation Support:
• Assist in managing litigation cases, including coordinating with external counsel and preparing case files.
• Track and monitor ongoing cases, ensuring timely updates and actions.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
• Organize and maintain legal documentation, including contracts, licenses, and compliance certificates.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval of legal documents.
Coordination and Communication:
• Liaise with external legal advisors, regulatory authorities, and internal teams as required.
• Provide timely responses to legal and compliance-related queries from internal stakeholders.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
Experience:
• 0-2 years of experience in a legal or compliance role. Freshers with internships in corporate law or compliance are encouraged to apply.
Skills and Competencies:
• Basic knowledge of corporate and commercial laws, including contract law and regulatory compliance.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
