Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a YouTube Script Writer based in New Delhi. The YouTube Script Writer will research topics related to school admissions, parenting, and K–12 education, and develop engaging, clear, and informative scripts for video content on Ezyschooling’s YouTube channel. Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorming concepts with the content and video production teams, outlining video structures, writing and revising scripts, and adapting content to different formats such as explainers, interviews, FAQs, and promotional videos. The role also involves optimizing scripts for audience engagement, clarity, and brand tone, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, and ensuring scripts align with marketing and product objectives. Collaboration with producers, editors, and on-camera presenters is essential to deliver consistent and high-quality video content.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Scriptwriting and Scripting skills for digital video content.
• Candidates should possess experience with Screenplays and narrative structuring for story-driven videos.
• Candidates should possess strong Writing skills, including clarity, grammar, and audience-focused communication.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Video Production workflows and collaboration with creative teams.
• Ability to research education-related topics and translate complex information into simple, engaging scripts.
• Strong command of English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage.
• Experience creating content for YouTube or other social media/video platforms is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Film, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort working on-site in New Delhi, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail, openness to feedback, and an interest in education and parent-focused content.
