Permanent Fixed Term, Full-time Opportunity


Employee Benefits

As a not-for-profit entity, our employees can package up to $18,549 p.a. of their taxable income before your income tax is calculated. Up to $15,900 p.a. on everyday expenses (such as mortgage payments, rent, groceries, bills and insurance) plus up to $2,649 p.a. on meal/entertainment benefits.


The Salary range for this position is currently $38.65 to $41.45 per hour. Hourly rate based on experience.

As a Youth Worker in our Child, Youth and Families team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering trauma-informed support while helping young people feel safe, valued and heard. This is more than a job – it’s an opportunity to be a role model and impact lives every day.


About the role

Provide direct care and daily living support for young people in residential and community settings
Plan and participate in activities aligned with care plans and developmental goals
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through role modelling and guidance
Maintain accurate case notes and comply with documentation standards
Support culturally safe practices, especially with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people
Transport clients safely in accordance with road safety and organisational guidelines

What you can bring

Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Certificate III in Community Services, or relevant experience
At least 1 year of experience working with children and young people in a care or community setting
Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds and experiences
A valid driver’s licence (minimum P2)
Ability to obtain a Blue Card, National Police Check, and LCS screening
