About the role He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
We’re looking for caring and motivated role models to support tamariki and rangatahi in our residential and community services.
As a Youth Support Worker, you’ll walk alongside young people who may have faced significant challenges, helping them build resilience, confidence, and self-belief. You’ll be a mentor and guide — encouraging growth, fostering positive connections, and opening doors to meaningful opportunities in their community.
You’ll also be part of a supportive, values-driven team that works together to make a real difference every day.

We work in partnership with adults and youth across Te Waipounamu (The South Island) who need some support in their lives to achieve their goals. We work alongside people to ensure they live the life they want and achieve their dreams and aspirations as valued and contributing people within their community.
CCT Youth Services in Dunedin include emergency housing, transitional housing, and Individual Care Response in a 24/7 supported environment, and community supports within the school, home, or community.
Our organisation has a strong commitment to safeguarding children and any employees will be vetted to a level appropriate to the role for which they have applied.

What you will bring Ngā tohunga mō tēnei tūranga
Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
Hold a full current NZ Driver License (Essential)
Be eligible to work in New Zealand
Have a valid work or student visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry
Be able to work at least one weekend shift per week
