Our esteemed partner school in Cambridge is dedicated to offering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for students. The school prides itself on inclusivity, equality, and is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all students. As an equal opportunities employer, they welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds. This is a 2 days per week role , and working only on Thursdays and Fridays and is just outside Cambridge.
Requirements:
• Qualified teaching status (QTS) for primary education.
• Teaching experience, particularly in Year 5 or KS2, with solid curriculum knowledge and classroom management.
• Strong understanding of child development and educational pedagogy.
• Possess an Enhanced DBS check or be prepared to obtain one through Randstad.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and classroom activities.
