A Wiradyuri word, “yamagigu”, translates to “Our purpose is to go with you” and encapsulates the spirit of partnership and shared journey.

We exist to enable meaningful change by providing valued professional services underpinned by our core principles of Truth, Respect, and Self-Determination. These services help support well-being, prosperity, and independence.

What makes us unique?

We see and experience the world differently - through a First Nations lens. We engage and understand through lived experience and provide solutions informed by First Nations knowledge and perspectives that have endured and adapted over tens of thousands of years.

We work alongside businesses, government, and communities to tackle complex commercial, environmental, and societal issues and design and deliver improved outcomes for First Nations people and communities.

Why work with us?

As a Supply Nation-certified Indigenous business, yamagigu is majority-owned, managed, and staffed by First Nations people with a passionate belief that First Nations peoples should be able to fulfil their aspirations.

What do we do?

We have opportunities for graduates to work across the following areas:

Digital and Transformation is the process of applying yamagigu’s approach with digital technologies to enable meaningful change by creating new — or modify existing — business models, products, processes, culture, and experiences to meet changing market conditions and community needs.

Economic Development is the process of building prosperity and wealth within communities to create meaningful change and grow the First Nations economy.

Sustainability, Human Rights and System Change embeds yamagigu’s approach into the policy cycle to enable meaningful change through conversation, reflection, and shared decision-making. yamagigu’s approach to Sustainability is inherently based on a First Nations worldview, prioritising First Nations Peoples as rights holders and decision-makers in efforts to care for country, address climate change, regenerate nature, and restore ecosystem integrity.

Advisory and Transactions to help businesses and communities unlock their economic potential by advising on complex commercial opportunities. We leverage our deep understanding of the challenges facing the First Nations Economy to support First Nations businesses, communities, and initiatives in achieving their commercial, community, and cultural aspirations.
