Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Writer at The GovTech Summit. The Writer will be responsible for creating engaging and compelling written content across various formats, including articles, reports, speeches, and promotional materials. This position will involve brainstorming content ideas, conducting thorough research on relevant topics, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality outputs that align with the mission and tone of the organization. Additionally, the Writer will contribute to shaping key messages and communicating with a global audience effectively.
Qualifications
• Exceptional Writing, Editing, and Proofreading skills to produce clear, concise, and impactful content
• Research and Analytical skills to gather accurate information and craft informed narratives
• Storytelling and Creative Writing abilities to engage diverse audiences and convey technical topics effectively
• Content Strategy and Planning expertise to align writing goals with organizational objectives
• Strong Collaboration and Communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms beneficial for content creation and management
• Experience in public policy, technology, or event promotion is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Political Science, or a related field
