About Museum of Solutions (MuSo)
Welcome to MuSo, India's first-of-its-kind children’s museum, where learning is an adventure! Based in Lower Parel, Mumbai, MuSo is dedicated to empowering young minds through hands-on, interactive experiences aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).
At the heart of MuSo lies our Make Lab, a vibrant space where creativity, problem-solving, and innovation come alive through workshops, activities, and projects.
We’re looking for an energetic and passionate Workshop Facilitator to design and deliver engaging programs for children, families, and school groups, fostering skills like design thinking, collaboration, and critical thinking. If you love working with children and creating immersive learning experiences, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
???? Program Facilitation
• Plan and conduct interactive workshops for children across different age groups (Early Years, Primary, and Middle Years).
• Deliver design thinking-based sessions aligned with MuSo’s educational vision and the UNSDGs.
• Facilitate hands-on activities in the Make Lab’s Open Atelier and Tool Bar for families and school groups.
• Encourage children to develop critical thinking, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Adapt workshop content to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
???? Make Lab & Open Atelier Management
• Set up and manage creative activities in the Open Atelier.
• Maintain inventory and materials for workshops.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Oversee daily operations of the Make Lab, ensuring a clean and engaging environment.
???? Workshop Development & Innovation
• Work with the Learning Design Team to develop new workshops and creative projects.
• Bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to workshops with an emphasis on play-based learning.
???? Monitoring & Evaluation
• Assess the effectiveness of workshops and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
???? Capacity Building & Professional Development
• Participate in in-house training to enhance visitor engagement.
• Stay updated on informal learning trends and attend professional development opportunities.
???? Leadership & Team Collaboration
• Mentor and support junior team members and volunteers.
• Foster a culture of creativity and learning within the team.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Education: Bachelor's degree in any field. A teaching qualification is a plus!
✅ Experience: 1-3+ years in teaching, conducting workshops, or working with children.
✅ Communication Skills: Fluency in English and Hindi. Ability to engage with children, families, and educators.
✅ Creativity & Problem-Solving: Passion for innovative learning methods and ability to troubleshoot on the spot.
✅ Adaptability: Comfortable working with different age groups and skill levels.
✅ Collaboration: Strong team player with an ability to brainstorm and share ideas.
✅ Weekend Availability: Willingness to work on weekends (weekly offs provided in lieu).
✅ Organisational Skills: Ability to efficiently manage workshops, time, and materials.
✅ Safety Awareness: Committed to ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
