Your new role
In your new role as Workshop Controller at CMI Toyota Stepney, you’ll be responsible for:
Assigning and dispatching repair orders based on priority and completion time
Managing workflows using the workshop control board daily
Ensuring all vehicles are ready for delivery to the customer at the agreed time
Maintaining workshop efficiency by allocating work to suitably skilled Technicians
Delivering an exceptional experience for our customers
Leading by example and driving a positive workshop culture
Most importantly, you’ll be working as part of a broader workshop team where quality, safety and teamwork matter.

Working in a CMI Toyota workshop, you can expect:
Daily support from experienced colleagues and leaders
A clean, well-equipped workshop designed for safety and productivity
Set hours with predictable rosters
Overtime opportunities available if you want them
About you
In this role, you’ll bring:
Trade qualifications and experience as an Automotive Technician (Toyota preferred)
Demonstrated experience leading a team and managing workflows
Exceptional organisational and communication skills
An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining focus on safety
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems
