About the position
The Works Supervisor leads a works team in the professional, diligent performance of duties associated with the construction, maintenance and repair of Council’s infrastructure to a best practice standard, and assists the Works Coordinator to coordinate resources in a proactive, cost effective and efficient manner.

About you
Certificate IV in Local Government Operational Works (or working towards) with relevant workplace experience.
Previous work experience in the implementation and review of Risk Assessments and Safe Work Method Statements for road maintenance and construction activities.
Ability to accurately read and interpret civil engineering drawings.
WorkCover OHS General Induction for Construction Work.
Demonstrated basic competence in computer operations including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Current class C Driver Licence.
‘Prepare a work zone’ Traffic Management Plan Certificate
Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in the Position Description).
Demonstrated Developed key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in the Position Description).
We offer
Permanent Full time, 38 hours per week
Salary from $80,336 to $82,2+6 per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation
