The Opportunity: Workplace Safety Assistant
Reporting to Group Manager, Work Health & Safety, this entry-level position offers skill development and real impact on workplace safety. Assists in identifying and implementing key WH&S initiatives across 2000+ workforce and 41 Depots and Branches across Australia.
Partners with operational leaders and experienced team to assess, control, and monitor workplace hazards.
Responsibilities:
Participating in risk assessments and exposure monitoring. Supporting incident investigations and workplace inspections. Assisting with injury management and compliance reviews.
Contributing to maintaining records and updating WH&S documentation. Assisting with audits, inspections, and other activities that support WH&S practice and continual improvement.

Passion for workplace safety combined with eagerness to learn makes you a standout candidate. Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships will be essential in supporting managers and employees in daily operations.
