While Cairns based location would be preference, remote work locations would be considered.

About your opportunity:
to plan, implement and evaluate sustainable allied health initiatives relating to workforce development and training, clinical education, governance, research and translation, inpatient and outpatient service delivery and patient flow at the direction of the Executive Director of Allied Heath.

About your role:
Demonstrate high level communication skills to facilitate working collaboratively with other interprofessional team members and stakeholder groups to achieve common vision, direction and project outcomes.
Contribute to transformation, research and development regarding allied health initiatives relevant to CHHHS services and the broader health services network.
Use high level negotiation, conflict management, advocacy, organisational and change management skills to facilitate the achievement of project outcomes.
Promote a culture of interprofessional collaboration by developing a comprehensive understanding of the role and the roles of other professionals within the team.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the political, human resource and financial pressures and constraints that impact service delivery and recommend courses of action which achieve sustainable outcomes within those constraints for patients, staff and students.
