As a Workforce Consultant, you’ll play a key role in partnering closely with operational stakeholders to design and implement agile, high-impact staffing solutions.
From workforce planning and management to recruitment and onboarding, you’ll ensure our workforce is aligned with business objectives, fully compliant, and equipped to deliver results.
Collaborating with hiring managers, HR teams, and operational leaders, you’ll create seamless recruitment experiences and build robust talent pipelines. This hands-on role demands strong stakeholder engagement, strategic and commercial thinking, and the ability to manage competing priorities to drive meaningful outcomes.
What you'll do:
Strategic Workforce Planning
Partner with operational leaders to understand workforce needs and align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
Support managers in resolving staffing challenges and addressing performance concerns.
Leverage workforce data and analytics to identify trends, forecast needs, and inform strategic staffing decisions.
Talent Pipeline Development
Build and nurture talent pipelines through partnerships with industry bodies, educational institutions, and local community networks.
Identify opportunities to engage emerging talent and support long-term workforce sustainability.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Collaborate with hiring managers and to develop compelling job briefs and advertisements that attract high-quality candidates.
Conduct and oversee screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability, flexibility, and readiness.
Coordinate pre-employment checks and deliver smooth, engaging onboarding experiences.
Compliance & Workforce Intelligence
Ensure recruitment activities comply with relevant legislation, award conditions, and internal policies.
Maintain accurate records and generate actionable workforce reports that drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring:
Minimum 3 years in recruitment, workforce planning, or labour hire.
Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
Operational recruitment process with experience in a delivery role.
Desirable
Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments.
Understanding of employment legislation and the Modern Award system.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business is desirable but not essential.
Skills & Capabilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Strong commercial acumen
High attention to detail, especially in compliance and documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office and recruitment platforms.
