We are a fast-growing law firm seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workers' CompensationParalegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and workers' compensation law, with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for proofreading, and will be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and file legal documents related to workers' compensation claims, including petitions, applications, and motions.
Assist attorney with case management.
Coordinate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers to gather necessary information for case development.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information for their claims.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on workers' compensation or personal injury law.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in personal injury law and workers' compensation law is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Excellent writing skills with attention to detail for proofreading documents.
Familiarity with legal administrative tasks and legal case management processes.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
