We are seeking a skilled WordPress & PHP Developer in custom theme/plugin development, PHP-based back-end programming, and full-stack WordPress development. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of WordPress architecture and the ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing dynamic WordPress websites and custom PHP applications tailored to business needs.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop custom WordPress themes and templates from scratch using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Create and manage custom post types, taxonomies, and ACF-based page builders.
• Design and develop custom plugins or extend existing ones using action/filter hooks.
• Build reusable and efficient PHP functions and modules.
• Handle WordPress site setup, configuration, migration, and deployment.
• Perform performance tuning, security hardening, and SEO optimization
• Debug and fix bugs, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Work with third-party APIs (e.g., RESTful services, CRMs, payment gateways).
• Collaborate with designers, UI/UX teams, and project managers for delivering responsive, pixel-perfect front-end designs.
• Keep codebases versioned (Git), documented, and up-to-date with best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Core Languages: PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL
• CMS Expertise: WordPress Core, Custom Themes, Plugins, ACF.
• Tools/Plugins: WooCommerce, Elementor/WPBakery (optional), Contact Form 7, Yoast SEO.
• API Knowledge: REST API integration and custom API development.
• Version Control: Basic Git/GitHub usage
• Performance & SEO: Familiarity with Lighthouse, GTMetrix, caching, and basic SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with MVC structure or PHP frameworks like Laravel (bonus).
• Experience with AJAX, JSON, XML.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles
• Working knowledge of hosting environments like cPanel, FTP, or local dev tools (XAMPP, LocalWP, etc.).
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and team-oriented
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Willingness to explore and adapt to new technologies.
