WordPress Content Manager
We are looking for candidates who possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically. Content manager's duties include writing, editing, proofreading and publishing website content and formulating content strategies.
Content managers should be comfortable finding creative ways of building an online presence, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content strategy. Here, content is defined as multimedia articles, blog posts white papers, press releases, images or videos that aid in fostering engagement online.
In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to organize and review web content, ensuring content accuracy.
Content Manager Responsibilities:
• Working with content writing, graphic design, web development, and social media teams to plan, create, and distribute content.
• Proofreading and editing content submissions according to brand guidelines
• Implementing SEO best practices to ensure all content ranks well and demonstrates an understanding of its target audience.
• Developing a comprehensive content strategy across multiple platforms, including the company website and social media channels
• Reviewing analytics and search performance reports to assess the success of content marketing initiatives.
• Assisting with outreach and amplification initiatives to improve the website's search engine ranking scores.
• Performing regular content audits to ensure content is consistent, well organized, accurate, optimized, updated, and relevant to the target audience.
• Brainstorming new content ideas alongside the larger creative and marketing team
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor's /master's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline with a strong academic record.
• 2-3 yrs . Experience of managing a WordPress hosted website (strongly required) and working knowledge of block editors (Gutenberg/Cornerstone), WordPress best practices, themes and plugins.
• Basic technical Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript and web publishing.
• Working Knowledge of marketing basics, digital marketing, SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Ability to independently upload and review content to websites hosted on WordPress.
• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
Preferred qualifications
• Prior experience in Digital content management space along with preferred WordPress Experience.
• Should be able to work independently.
• Quick learner and Effective probing skills and analyzing / understanding skills.
• Must be able to work on a flexible schedule. JR00+470
