WHS Coordinator , Workplace Health and Safety F47
Job Description
This is an hourly role based on shift patterns:
The current shift pattern is Front Half (Sun-Wed), night shift
Must be willing to rotate shifts based on business need.
Key job responsibilities
Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly, and monthly inspections
Facilitate incident investigation process
Maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon and local regulations
Enter Safety incident information in internal database in a timely manner
Perform safety observations & audits
Coach others (Area Managers etc.) to complete their safety responsibilities (Audits, Follow Safety Rules, Inspections etc.)
May have additional responsibility for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or other safety related activities depending on the business unit and location
Participate in process improvement activities and manage actions to completion
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Bachelors in Safety related field or Cert IV in WHS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in logistics, or experience in an operational role
Experience with data analysis
