Operate the weighbridge system by weighing vehicles entering and exiting the site ensuring information is correctly recorded and non-compliant material is not permitted access to the site Acting as first point of contact for any vehicles and resolving any issues with the delivery / collection of the goods Where required, implement Veolia’s export procedure, ensuring all outgoing loads have correct paperwork in place such as (Annex 7’s, TransFrontierShipment etc.) Collate detailed and summarised records by inputting information onto the computer and extracting statistics on a weekly/monthly basis for the Leadership Team Respond to telephone and visitors’ enquiries; deal with those concerning the services provided by the site as appropriate. Liaise with other site personnel to ensure that the Weighbridge and reception service is maintained during the site’s opening hours What are we looking for? Good IT skills for word processing and spreadsheets Similar operational experience within a busy function Good knowledge of health and safety Strong communication and problem solving skills Desirable - Weighbridge/Administration experience and experience within the waste industry.
