Website Designer and Developer

Job description We are seeking a talented and experienced Website Developer to join our team to build, maintain, and optimize our online presence. Key Responsibilities: Website Development: Design, code, and modify websites, from layout to function, according to company specifications. Develop visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. Technical Implementation: Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code by using best software development practices. Create website layout/user interfaces using standard practices and integrate data from various back-end services and databases. Content Management: Work with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal to update and manage website content. Ensure website content is well-organized, accessible, and regularly updated. Optimization: Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability. Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites function well on a variety of devices and screen sizes. Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct website testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance. Identify and troubleshoot website issues and errors, ensuring timely resolution. Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure the website aligns with the company's branding and objectives. Work with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs. SEO and Analytics: Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking. Utilize web analytics tools to track and analyze website traffic and user behavior, providing insights for improvements. Security: Implement and maintain website security measures to protect against cyber threats. Regularly update software and plugins to ensure the website's security and performance. Qualifications: Proficiency in web development languages. Experience with front-end frameworks Strong knowledge of back-end development using languages Familiarity with database management systems Experience with content management systems (CMS) Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. Experience in website development or a similar role.
