Overall Responsibilities
• Analyze BRD, BSO, and DOU documents to identify business rules, functional requirements, test conditions, and expected outcomes.
• Prepare test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test execution schedules.
• Prepare and manage test data required for Way4 PI execution and acquiring transaction validation.
• Execute end-to-end tests across the merchant lifecycle, including applicable acquiring and payment processes.
• Validate SOD/ETL processing, data movement, transaction outcomes, and business and operational reports.
• Record, manage, prioritize, and track defects through investigation, retesting, and closure.
• Collaborate with development and project teams to clarify requirements, analyze defects, and confirm fixes.
• Perform regression testing after defect fixes, configuration changes, releases, and implementation updates.
• Prepare daily status reports, test execution summaries, defect reports, risk updates, and project closure reports.
• Participate in meetings and day-to-day coordination with Leads, Project Managers, business stakeholders, development teams, and testing teams.
• Identify gaps in test coverage, test data, requirements, and process validation.
• Support timely completion of testing activities in accordance with agreed quality and delivery standards.
• Maintain test evidence, requirement traceability, defect records, execution results, and project documentation.

Day-to-Day Activities
• Analyze BRD, BSO, and DOU documents, prepare test plans and test cases, and create test data for Way4 PI and acquiring scenarios.
• Execute end-to-end merchant lifecycle tests, validate SOD/ETL processing and reports, and document test evidence and results.
• Manage defects, coordinate with development and project teams, perform retesting and regression testing, and track issues through closure.
• Prepare daily status and closure reports, participate in coordination meetings, communicate risks and progress, and make testing decisions within approved quality and delivery standards.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in software testing, payment testing, Way4 testing, or related technology roles.
• Certifications in software testing, Agile, test automation, or payment technologies are preferred.
• Complete Synechron-required training related to information security, data protection, payment systems, workplace conduct, and responsible technology use.
• Maintain continuous professional development in Way4, acquiring processes, payment testing, SOD/ETL validation, reporting, defect management, and testing practices.
