The Fraser Coast Regional Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to oversee the installation of new water and sewerage infrastructure, including pipes, mains, and service connections. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your team in the construction and maintenance projects, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the installation of new water and sewerage infrastructure.
Plan and coordinate tasks to ensure timely and safe completion of projects.
Operate plant and machinery for excavation and installation work, maintaining high safety standards.
Ensure compliance with regulations and quality workmanship throughout the installation process.
Requirements:
Certificate III (AQF Level 3 or above) in Civil Construction or equivalent experience in the water/wastewater industry and/or relevant trade qualifications.
Demonstrated experience in water and wastewater construction and maintenance activities, with supervisory skills and hands-on experience operating plant and equipment.
Current MR Licence and valid driver's licence (or willingness to obtain the MR Licence within 3 months of commencement).
Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Tetanus immunisations (or ability to readily acquire).
