Job description
Nomad Complex is a clothing and apparel company operating in the online retail sector, with an accompanying expansion into adult-themed clothing. Established in 2016, our mission has always been to do things different, and better.
We are currently seeking a positive, out-going and friendly individual to add to our growing team for the position of Warehouse/Retail Associate. The Warehouse/Retail Associate will be primarily responsible for picking and packing online orders while assisting the very rare customer that may walk in through our doors.
As the Warehouse/Retail Associate your duties will include;
- Taking care of online order fulfillment, ensuring online orders are processed in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Receiving, folding, organizing and storing product.
- Adjusting inventory counts as necessary and performing bi-monthly audits of inventory.
- Provide excellent in-person customer service to folks who come to the warehouse in person.
- Operate the point of sale system to ring through all basic transactions.
- Provide a pleasant experience for guests of our warehouse when they stop by.
- Occasionally traveling to conventions around the world, if necessary, to help set up and run vendor booths.
- Is at least 1+ years old.
- Is a fun, upbeat and engaging individual with a passion for cool clothing and apparel.
- Preferably has experience in a similar customer service and/or warehouse associate role.
- Works well both by themselves and in a team environment.
- Is accustomed to dealing with fandom and sub-culture driven communities.
- Is capable of lifting 50+ pounds
- Can work on their feet for extended periods of time. (We pack on standing desks)
- Ideally has a valid passport.
Now what’s in it for you?
- A healthy work/life balance. You work to live, you don’t live to work, and that philosophy is what has kept us going all these years.
- An extremely fun, relaxed environment with some awesome people who are here to enjoy every hour of the day.
- Opportunities for travel, vending at conventions across the world. (It’s basically just a big party.)
- A modern, new office space with heating, air conditioning and several other fantastic amenities
- Above average salary - We know how the world works. We didn’t stop working other jobs and start our own thing just to treat our staff as poorly as corporations treated us. We do things differently.
- An employer who cares about you, first and foremost.
- Flexibility - We understand you have a life, and we want you to live it.
- Dogs. We have dogs in the office. We probably should have led with that.
Please respond to this ad with a cover letter telling us a little bit about who you are and why you’d like to work with our company. Don’t stress too much about the resume - We’d like to see it, but we’re more interested in YOU.
