Job Summary
This position is responsible for receiving, storing and issuing parts, PO’s and other materials to internal and external customers while maintaining 100% accurate inventory
Roles and Responsibilities
Picks-up product by monitoring production; loading and moving product
Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database.
Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems.
Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports, adjusting entries.
Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases.
Monitors inventory by completing counts as required.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Accomplishes distribution and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma and 1 - 2 years of experience in warehouse operations.
Ability to communicate effectively and establish relationships with internal and external customers in a warehouse setting.
Solid data entry and record keeping skills.
Experience with shipping procedures and vendor practices. Previous parts and/or warehouse experience a plus
Microsoft excel and word intermediate user
Preferred Skills
Excellent Customer Service and multi-tasking skills.
High attention to detail and precise data entry/record keeping.
Thorough knowledge of all computer systems, procedures, and service operations.
Written and verbal communication skills
Authority
Makes changes as necessary to receiving as per Corporate Approval Limits (DAL) and manager approval.

Capable of performing the following essential physical demands:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds from floor to waist
Must be able to perform single-handed carry up to 15 pounds
Must be able to perform two-handed carry up to 50 pounds
Must be able to operate motor vehicles with current valid driver’s license
Must be able to walk on various terrain
Depth perception
Color vision/perception
Hearing of sounds and speech within normal frequency/range
Must be able to communicate in written and oral form
Must be able to travel (minimal)
Complexity of Tasks:
Ability to follow directions working from verbal instructions, working independently with minimal supervision
Ability to comply with the facility’s production, quality and safety standards
Must possess a high degree of initiative, with the ability to be promptly and regularly at work
Ability to work fluctuating work schedules and extensive work hours required by workloads
Capable of performing a variety of manual assignments/tasks as defined by the critical demands of the job
