The Happy Homewares warehouse team are looking for a keen, hardworking, bright individual to join our growing company. Our warehouse sends parcels to the UK as well as pallet shipments to the USA and Amazon Fulfilment Centres in the UK and Europe.
The role will be 36.25 hours per week, Monday - Friday + am - 5 pm. (45 Minute lunch break)
The rate of pay will be starting £22,000 per annum as well as an annual bonus (performance related).
Description
• Picking and packing orders for UK/European destinations across multiple Delivery Couriers.
• Bulk picking for Amazon & Wayfair Fulfilment Centres.
• Using tablets to pick efficiently, stocktake the warehouse & other general warehouse duties.
• Stock rotation / stock replenishment
• Packing, counting and wrapping pallets ready for distribution
• Unloading shipping containers with new and replenishment stock.
• General ad hoc duties.
About You
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment. If you've worked in a similar setting before, great! - if not, full training will be provided, but most importantly, you'll bring a true commitment to the service and a keen desire to help deliver a first-class workload.
Requirements
• Computer/tablet literate
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (not essential).
• Good communication, listening and talking
• A team player
• Self-motivated and able to use your own initiative
• Good timekeeping
• Able to be flexible
• Attention to detail
• Forklift experience (not essential).
• The ability to achieve targets and KPIs
