Warehouse Operations Specialist

Job Overview
The Warehouse Operations Specialist is a critical role at Leslie's Poolmart, Inc., responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe storage, shipping, and receiving of products. This position requires a high level of accuracy, productivity, and teamwork to meet company standards.

Main Responsibilities:
Receiving and Shipping: Unload inbound shipments safely and accurately, storing merchandise in designated areas. Verify shipment contents against manifests and report any discrepancies or damage.
Order Fulfillment: Pick customer orders efficiently, ensuring correct quantities and types of products are selected. Transport orders to staging areas for loading.
Loading and Unloading: Load product from staging or storage areas into trailers, maintaining safety and security protocols. Ensure all product is properly stacked, wrapped, and secured for transport.
Maintenance and Safety: Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance on material handling equipment. Adhere to OSHA and SDS standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Forklift Experience: Six months of experience operating a forklift is required. The ability to complete training courses and operate equipment safely and efficiently is essential.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods is necessary.
Certifications and Training: Possession of a valid driver's license and completion of a forklift operator course are highly preferred. Familiarity with radio frequency equipment and computer systems is also beneficial.
