West Coast Kids was born in 1+74 and has continued to serve our valued customers as a family-owned business for almost 50 years We originated in the heart Winnipeg, Manitoba, and are now up to 10 locations across Canada.
We are expanding and are currently looking to fill the role of Warehouse Shipper and Receiver in our Vancouver location We are looking for an individual that can adapt and grow with our business while demonstrating excellent customer service, sales, dedication and hard work.

• What are we are looking for?
- Someone who is highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy boxes ( up to 100 lbs )
• What you will need
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Flexible availability as the operating hours require some evenings and weekends
- Willingness to learn and grow with the business

Our client, based in beautiful North Vancouver, is a boutique Nutraceutical contract manufacturer, helping new and existing brands, in long term partnerships. With extensive years' of experience in the supplement and nutraceutical industry, they provide top-quality ingredients, product development, product innovation, production and market research, as value adds for their clients.
Currently, our client is seeking a dedicated and detail orientated Warehouse Operations Associate to join their team in North Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Operations Lead, the Warehouse Operations Associate ensures the safe, efficient handling, storage, administration, and distribution of our nutraceutical products. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to be a self-starter will be essential in ensuring our customer’s products are processed accurately and efficiently.
You will partner with key stakeholders to improve work processes and practices and drive the Company’s inventory process.
• Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and skillfully operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the site.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including cycle counts and restocking products as needed.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping, ensuring that products are correctly labeled and packaged to meet our quality standards.
- Inspect products for damage or defects, reporting any issues to the warehouse supervisor.
- Assist production operations when necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while operating the forklift and handling materials to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with other associates, operations, quality and leadership to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including stacking and arranging materials in an orderly fashion.
• Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in forklift operation, a valid forklift operator's license is an asset
- training can be provided.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or operations environment.
- Experience working with an inventory management system.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
