Foster your nursing career with Healthscope in our private surgical ward, Ward 5A, at Northern Beaches Hospital. This exciting opportunity allows you to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The ward offers a range of specialties, including urology, upper gastrointestinal, general surgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, and breast and endocrine surgery. Our team is dedicated to supporting continuing education for all staff through our education department and has clinical nurse educators on the ward.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Current registration as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
A minimum of two years' experience in a surgical unit
Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
Previous experience within a private hospital setting will be highly regarded
A passion for delivering quality patient-centred care
The ability to manage shift work (including day and night shifts) over seven days
