Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Volunteer — Grant Writer to join our team at Bridges Global Mission. This role offers an exciting opportunity to serve the educational needs of orphans and Bible college students in Southeast Asia. As a vital member of our team, you will research and identify grants and write grant proposals that are specific to the guidelines of the grant. Your energy, enthusiasm, and writing skills will help us expand our reach and amplify our mission’s impact.

Bridges Global Mission is a Christian nonprofit organization committed to serving underprivileged children and adults in the United States and South India. We provide food, clothing, medical supplies, and educational resources to communities in need. Through our work, many lives have been transformed as we have addressed physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Responsibilities
Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and faith-based organizations
Write and submit compelling grant proposals to secure funding for ministry programs
Track grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and funding cycles
Represent Bridges Global Mission professionally to external partners, donors, and the community
Skills
Experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Passion for serving underprivileged communities and alignment with our Christian mission and values
Familiarity with grant databases (e.g., Candid/GuideStar, Foundation Directory, Instrumentl) is a plus
Time Commitment
Please note, this is a part-time, non-paid volunteer position. We ask for an estimated 10-25 hours per week, with the ability to work remotely on your own schedule.
We are happy to accommodate availability and discuss a schedule that works for you.
