Vocational Trainer (Education & Training)
Job Description
Firstline Medical Training is a new, growing and exciting training provider based in London. We are seeking a Trainer/Assessor to deliver the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) through face-to-face delivery over four consecutive days each month to new trainers, as well as first aid instructors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for both delivery and assessment of the qualification in line with Qualsafe Awards’ qualification specification and quality assurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) in person over a 4-day programme
Deliver learning in line with Qualsafe lesson plans or an approved centre delivery plan
Assess learner work, including microteaching sessions and learner workbooks
Provide clear, constructive, and developmental feedback to learners
Maintain accurate assessment and learner records in line with Qualsafe requirements
Comply with Qualsafe Awards’ policies, procedures, and external quality assurance processes
Ensure learner-to-trainer ratios do not exceed 12:1
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment
Essential Trainer Requirements
Applicants must meet Qualsafe Awards trainer requirements, including evidence of a recognised teaching or training qualification, such as (but not limited to):
Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (RQF)
Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF)
PGCE / CertEd
B.Ed / M.Ed
DTLLS / CTLLS
Essential Trainer Requirements (Continued)
Relevant teaching or training experience in an education or training context
Ability to deliver and assess vocational qualifications competently
Commitment to maintaining continuous professional development (CPD)
