Little Rhythm Co is a growing early childhood music education program delivering engaging music and movement classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, as well as music programs in childcare centres across Melbourne's western suburbs.
We're looking for a passionate and energetic Vocalist / Music Coach to join our team.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a singer, musician, performer, music student or music educator who enjoys connecting with young children and families through music.
You will lead interactive music classes featuring singing, movement, instruments, rhythm activities and musical games. Full training, lesson plans and resources are provided.
Essential Requirements: Vocal Ability
Confident singer with strong vocal ability
Comfortable singing solo in front of groups of children and adults
Able to learn and confidently perform a children's music repertoire
Strong sense of rhythm, pitch and musicality
Personal Qualities
Energetic, engaging and enthusiastic
Comfortable leading groups independently
Warm, professional and reliable
Excellent communication skills
Passion for music and early childhood development
Practical Requirements
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current driver's licence
Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within Melbourne's western suburbs
Availability for Wednesday, Friday and/or Saturday morning work
Desirable Experience
Experience in one or more of the following:
Vocal performance
Music education
Performing arts
Children's entertainment
Early childhood education
Teaching, presenting or facilitating groups
