This role is Temporary (until March 2027) Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight

About this work area
As Visual Merchandising/Activity Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
Providing home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products to improve people’s life at home.
Demonstrating the uniqueness of the IKEA product range through your visual merchandising competence and techniques in different displays in store to distance us from the competition.
Engaging others through the ability to visualise and present a commercial idea.
Working with new and unique display concepts to motivate people to visit the IKEA store more frequently.
Constantly on the move in the store to successfully implement your tasks and duties.
Who you are
As Visual Merchandising/Activity Co-worker you are:
Passionate the work of implementing your designs from a sketch into reality, as you are a practical and hands on individual, with proven ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Curious and driven to understand home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home, grasping the fundamentals of visual merchandising principles.
A creative thinker, with commercial visual competence and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Experienced with programs such as REVIT, preferred but not essential. Having a Design qualification, previous Visual Merchandising experience and experience in Adobe Creative Cloud & Microsoft Office is preferred.
