We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering
In this role, you will:
• Define and Design Test Strategy for major credit card testing programs
• Review of test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Automation Framework, Test Scripts and executions
• Script design using automation tools (TOSCA, Selenium)
• Should hold strong skills of managing the project in test management tools like ALM QC and JIRA.
• Manage projects in agile methodology in DevOps environment
• Ability to Lead and manage sizeable Team of functional analysts, test leads for Card Markets.
• Should possess an ability to establish and manage the test governance process and able to manage the quality delivery for our businesses with minimum to zero leakage of issues into production and no customer outages.
• Building of strong testing team by supporting recruitment drives within the team and wider HSBC technology India
• Review of incidents in productions and understanding the improvements in future testing and socialize within lending department
• Mentoring and guiding the testing team for upskilling and increasing their capabilities.
• Managing performance of the team
• Making strategy for test automation and leading the build of automation suit for credit cards functionalities
• Leading the testing of end-to-end mobile journeys for credit cards
• Creating presentation and dashboards for senior stake holders
• Producing and review of estimates for pipeline projects
• Attending and contributing to PI planning
• Conducting scrum call and tracking action items.
• Collect and manage testing matrices for internal and external reporting.
• Identify the opportunities for test automation and identify and implement solution for blockers
• Additional responsibilities of Solution Analyst role will be undertaken
• Leading solution team and providing solutions for credit card requirement
• Follow standards and controls to ensure quality of outcome
• Should be flexible, ability of Sharing, Initiative, and maintaining congenial work environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Strong Functional and Business domain knowledge on Credit Card and Debit Cards
• Hold good understanding of Vision Plus application, Mainframe, VSAM, CICS, TSO, Scheme Simulators, Agile and DevOps
• Strong Functional knowledge of Debit and Credit Cards for Vision Plus, HPS PowerCARD, BPC Smart Vista and First Visions platforms
• Strong Vision Plus functional knowledge on modules such as CMS, FAS, TRAMS, ITS, LTS, ASM etc
• Understand the Functional Design and Business Requirements and develop and execute custom application Test plan and Scripts.
• Should have good knowledge of Test Automation in TOSCA and usage of CI:CD Pipeline for test deployment.
• Should have completed TOSCA AS1, AS2, TDS1, TDS2, AE1 and AE2 with practical experience
• Basic completion of Testing certifications (ISTQB, Agile etc )
• Should hold strong functional knowledge to define the test scope both functionally and impact assess the regression scope for end-to-end cards journey including the back end/front-end and Digital APIs.
• Proven track record of work experience in Cards migration, new product launch and regulatory compliance projects for retail and commercial cards.
• Strong techno functional knowledge of Clearing and Authorization simulators for Schemes like Visa, Mastercard and AMEX
• Strong functional knowledge on PEGA Smart Dispute application.
• Work experience in credit card solution analysis and producing solution documents
