Strong understanding of container technology such as OpenShift, including application management and development, Kubernetes
Quick learner with strong technical skills, capable of acquiring new technologies and concepts on the go
Able to guide and support the team in their learning and development
Comfortable conveying complex concepts to non-technical audience
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to thoroughly troubleshoot and resolve issues
Version control management experience, managing and maintaining Git repositories, including branching, merging, and tagging strategies
Previous administration experience of tools/applications running on OpenShift/Kubernetes
Project Selling Points: Starburst admin application support
Responsibilities
Starburst Enterprise group hosts and manages Enterprise Starburst clusters to support Data Mesh and Data pipeline capabilities for various teams within the Bank
Administration of Trino/Starburst application in multi environments ,Uploading/deploying new Trino/starburst images on container setup (kuebernetes), understanding helm charts, working with end users to debug items, explain plan assistance with performances
Understanding of query performance and different ways to optimize, SQL tuning, SQL query skills

traditional virtualization skills with modern cloud migration and management
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in VMware, a
strong understanding of Azure cloud services, and proven success in cloud
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
3-5 years of experience in virtualization administration, specifically
with VMware and Microsoft Azure environments
Linux
experience is a MUST
Strong background in cloud migrations, with hands-on experience
migrating workloads to Azure
Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure Compute, Storage,
Networking, and Azure Site Recovery)
Proficient in networking principles and protocols, with a focus on
hybrid cloud connectivity and security
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot
complex issues across virtual and cloud environments
Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP),
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Solutions
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of working
effectively in a team and with stakeholders at all levels
