About the Role
Galileo is seeking Hospitalitarians to join our Virtual Support Team as we bring healthcare to those who need it most! We believe that the visit, the consultation, the lab test is only the surface and that the really exciting work is how we make people feel. How we take care of them, how we help them along their health journey. If you are hyper focused on changing people’s lives, of clearing the way as they take control of their wellbeing, of creating special and unique experiences that defy people’s expectations of what caring for themselves can be and what it can feel like - then you belong at Galileo.
Galileo is seeking Hospitalitarians to join our Virtual Support Team as we bring healthcare to those who need it most! We believe that the visit, the consultation, the lab test is only the surface and that the inspiring work is how we make people feel, how we care for them, and how we help them along their health journey. If you are hyper-focused on changing people’s lives, clearing the way as they take control of their well-being, and creating memorable and unique experiences that defy people’s expectations of what caring for themselves can be and what it can feel like - then you belong at Galileo.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
• Seek to understand the person you are assisting and their unique circumstances. Using this insight, you’ll provide unreasonable hospitality and service.
• Connect folks with the various Galileo services and teams, including clinical and administrative functions. As needed, this can include completing administrative tasks such as processing insurance authorizations, collecting medical records and more.
• Build strong connections that mean you notice even the small details and continually brainstorm solutions to improve our processes and each person’s experience.
About You
We'd love to hear from you if this sounds like you:
• Have a distraction-free home work environment, allowing for focused work supporting patients reaching out for assistance.
• The ability to connect company-issued equipment to your home network via ethernet cable.
• Have a consistent, reliable connection to support work functions (25 mbp/s down, <10 ms latency)
• Someone who truly enjoys helping people - you never approach a problem as “one size fits all,” but creatively resolve issues based on each person’s unique needs
• Are excited to help people day in and out as you navigate a complex system
• Are energized by providing high volume and high-quality support in a fast-paced environment
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills with the highest attention to detail
• Do not have a healthcare background (or are willing to forget everything you have learned)
Compensation Range: $20-22 per hour based on experience, location, and market dynamics
