Media CoverageWhy We Invested In VirohanYourStory Coverage:Funding UpdateWhat does a Virohanite believe in?- High Ownership - own every part of the process from start to end and see it through.- High Integrity - stay true to what you commit and do everything, within a reasonable limit, to achieve that.- Open & Transparent Communication - create an environment of openly communicating what you feel.- Creating Positive Impact - work in such a way that it brings about positive impact to all your stakeholders.- Bias For Action - Dont be a bystander when you see problems; take action either solve it or get it solved.What youll be responsible for?Legal Risk Management:- Identify, assess, and manage legal risks across the company's pan-India operations.- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks in collaboration with business units.- Provide legal advice and support to senior management on various legal issues.Regulatory Compliance:- Navigate and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks in the education and healthcare sectors across different countries.- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that could impact the company and advise on necessary adjustments.- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external counsel as needed.Business Collaboration:- Work closely with business leaders to understand their objectives and provide legal guidance that aligns with business goals.- Facilitate effective communication between the legal function and other departments to ensure integrated risk management.Team Leadership and Management:- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.- Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and accurate legal support.- Encourage continuous professional development within the legal team.Contract Management:- Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and agreements to protect the company's interests.- Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and manage any disputes that arise.Litigation and Dispute Resolution:- Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes, including liaising with external legal counsel.- Develop strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and minimize legal exposure.An ideal candidate should have:- Being an entrepreneur at heart so as to effectively collaborate with the business.- Ready to get in the mud and be hands-on.- Analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.- Experience in similar role in a growth stage startup managing legal and regulatory risk.If you believe in making an impact on society and are keen to be a part of the fast growing healthcare education sector, we would be delighted to hear from you!
