Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Professional Video Editor and Videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through video and possess exceptional technical skills in video editing, shooting, and post-production. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Video Production: Plan, shoot and edit high-quality videos for various purposes such as marketing campaigns, corporate communications, events and social media.
• Conceptualization: Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to understand project objectives and develop creative concepts and storyboards.
• Filming: Utilize professional-grade cameras, lighting equipment and audio recording devices to capture high-quality footage in various environments and settings.
• Editing: Edit raw footage into compelling and visually engaging videos using industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Blender). This includes cutting clips, adding transitions, graphics, visual effects and audio enhancements.
• Post-Production: Manage the entire post-production process, including color correction, audio mixing and adding special effects or animations as needed.
• Asset Management: Organize and maintain video files, project assets and archives to ensure efficient workflow and easy accessibility for future use.
• Collaboration: Work closely with clients, producers, directors and other team members to ensure project requirements are met and creative visions are realized.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies and best practices in video production and editing to continuously improve skills and workflows.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a professional video editor and videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects across different genres.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Blender, Adobe After Effect, Illustrator or similar.
• Excellent understanding of cinematography principles, camera operation, lighting techniques and audio recording.
• Creative flair and storytelling skills with the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling narratives.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality while meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, or visual effects is a plus.
