We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for social media, digital marketing campaigns, and branding initiatives. Employers typically look for proficiency in industry-standard editing software, storytelling ability, and strong collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
• Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and corporate content
• Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music
• Perform color correction and basic audio enhancement
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to execute creative concepts
• Optimize videos for different platforms and formats
• Maintain brand consistency across all video content
• Organize project files and deliver videos within deadlines
Required Skills
• 1–3 years of professional video editing experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
• Experience creating short-form content for social media
• Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
• Familiarity with motion graphics, typography, and animation
• Basic knowledge of color grading and audio editing
• Strong attention to detail and time management
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Multimedia, Animation, Film Production, or a related field
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative video editing projects
• Experience with AI-powered editing tools is an added advantage
