Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Rajpura. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing daily videos for YouTube, Instagram, and other social platforms, ensuring a consistent style and high production quality. Responsibilities include selecting and cutting footage, adding transitions, motion graphics, titles, captions, and sound design, as well as color correction and basic audio mixing. The role involves collaborating with scriptwriters and hosts to refine story flow, incorporating feedback, and delivering edits on tight deadlines. The Video Editor will also help optimize formats for different platforms, organize media assets, and stay current with trends in tech content and digital video.
Qualifications
• Strong video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Experience with basic motion graphics and titles (e.g., Adobe After Effects or similar tools).
• Knowledge of color correction, audio levels, and sound design fundamentals.
• Understanding of content formats and best practices for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms.
• Ability to interpret briefs, follow brand guidelines, and maintain a consistent visual style.
• Strong storytelling skills, with an eye for pacing, narrative clarity, and audience engagement.
• Interest in gadgets, smartphones, AI tools, and emerging tech; ability to translate technical topics into engaging visuals.
• Excellent time management skills and comfort working with daily or rapid turnaround timelines.
• Ability to collaborate in an on-site production environment, take feedback constructively, and iterate quickly.
• Relevant prior experience in digital media, content creation, or a portfolio showcasing video editing work; a degree or certification in film, media, or related fields is a plus but not required.
