About the Role
We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Video Editor with 1–2 years of experience who has a strong eye for storytelling, motion graphics, and visual design.
The ideal candidate should be more than a traditional video editor - someone who can turn ideas into engaging Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, brand content, and campaign films using editing, motion graphics, VFX, templates, and emerging AI tools.
If you love experimenting with After Effects, Premiere Pro, AI video generation, CGI, motion graphics, and creative templates, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit and produce high-quality content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, social media campaigns, and brand films.
• Create engaging motion graphics, kinetic typographytransitions, text animations, logo animations, and visual effects.
• Work extensively with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, along with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
• Use motion graphics and VFX to enhance both live-action and AI-generated footage.
• Work with creative and marketing teams to transform campaign concepts into visually compelling videos.
• Explore and experiment with AI-powered video and image generation tools such as Sora, Runway, Hailuo AI, Midjourney, and Leonardo AI.
• Use stock footage, templates, plugins, transitions, effects, and creative assets to improve production quality and turnaround time.
• Work with platforms such as Envato Elements, Motion Array, Artlist, Storyblocks, Freepik, Mixkit, and Adobe Stock to source templates, footage, music, graphics, and other creative assets.
• Customize and modify templates rather than simply using them as-is, ensuring the final output matches the brand's visual identity.
• Maintain consistency in visual style, typography, colour, pacing, transitions, and storytelling across campaigns.
• Manage multiple projects, raw footage, assets, revisions, and different video versions efficiently.
What We're Looking For
• 1–2 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably in a digital marketing, advertising, media, or creative agency environment.
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and AfterGood working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
• Strong Motion Graphics skills are essential.
• Good understanding of keyframing, masking, compositing, typography animation, transitions, visual effects, and basic VFX.
• Understanding of colour grading, sound design, music synchronization, and storytelling.
• Experience working with Envato Elements, Motion Array, Artlist, Storyblocks, Freepik, Adobe Stock, or similar creative asset/template platforms.
• Familiarity with AI creative tools such as Sora, Runway, Hailuo AI, Midjourney, Leonardo AI, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media video trends, especially Reels and Shorts.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
