WHAT WILL YOU DO AT WHOLSUM FOODS?
We’re looking for a highly skilled Video Editor whose core strength lies in video editing, with a strong eye for detail, pacing, and narrative flow. The ideal candidate should also possess a creative flair for motion graphics, using them to enhance visual storytelling rather than lead it. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end video creation process—from structuring raw footage to delivering polished, platform-ready content. This is a key visual role in our brand team, shaping how our audience sees and feels the brand through video
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Own the end-to-end video editing process—from raw footage to final cut
• Develop visually compelling videos for social media, campaigns, product explainers, and internal communication
• Integrate motion graphics (text animations, overlays, transitions) to enhance video quality
• Collaborate with creative, content, and marketing teams to align visuals with brand messaging
• Optimize content for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all video formats
WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE?
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in video editing as the core skill
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (must), After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools
• Strong storytelling skills, with an eye for pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact
• Good grasp of motion graphics principles and ability to create simple yet effective animations
• Experience with sound design, music syncing, and color grading
• A strong portfolio/showreel showcasing video-first projects (motion design a plus)
• Experience working in D2C, lifestyle, or digital-first brands is a plus
• Familiarity with video strategy for performance marketing and social campaigns
