Job description
Ginni Media is hiring two Paid Video Editor Interns to join our team in New York City. This is a hands-on, creative role built for someone who has just finished their degree or diploma in video editing, film, media production, or a related field — and is ready to bring their own eye and energy to real, live projects from day one.
You'll work across podcasts, brand partnerships, and original content seen and heard by audiences across the U.S. and beyond. This isn't a coffee-run internship. You'll step into projects with genuine ownership and a strong creative point of view, knowing that great video is equal parts storytelling, technical precision, and trust.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is looking for their first professional editing role and wants to grow inside a fast-moving, booming creative environment — not just observe it. One of the two positions will be offered as a permanent, full-time role at the end of the internship.
Who This Is For:
This role is specifically designed for candidates who:
→ Have recently completed (or are in the final stages of completing) a degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in video editing, media production, film, or a related creative field
→ Are looking for their first professional role and want real, portfolio-building experience
→ Have a genuine creative perspective and a distinct editing style they're excited to develop
→ Are based in New York City or able to commute to Midtown Manhattan
Please note: This is an entry-level internship. We are not looking for candidates with several years of professional experience, nor candidates without any foundational editing training or education. If you are a seasoned editor, this role is not the right fit — and we encourage you to look out for senior openings in future.
