Role Description The Video Editor role at Village Show Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Jagtial. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, arranging, and synchronizing clips to create clear narratives. Daily tasks include applying basic and advanced video edits, color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics and text, and ensuring consistent visual style across projects. The role involves collaborating with directors, producers, and other creative team members to interpret project briefs, refine video concepts, and deliver content within deadlines. The Video Editor will also manage media files, maintain organized project archives, and optimize outputs for various platforms and formats.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including experience with professional editing software.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading and basic color correction to maintain visual consistency and enhance storytelling.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support titles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual effects.
• Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling abilities, and a solid understanding of pacing, composition, and sound synchronization.
• Ability to work on-site in Jagtial, collaborate effectively within a creative team, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
