Agency experience is a bonus • Motion Design, Motion Graphics video editing and Graphic Design skills. Video Production and Graphics skills • The ideal candidate will be a storyteller, listener and a problem solver all in one with strong creative skills and an eye for quality and attention to detail which is imperative when it comes time to edit videos • Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience • Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications • Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects • Create rough and final cuts • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running • Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency. Knowledge, Qualifications, and Skills: • Minimum 2-5 years of hands on experience as a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Artist. Agency experience is a bonus • A strong portfolio of illustrations, social media concepts, performance ad concepts or other graphics • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, LightWorks, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, etc) • Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing • A keen eye for clutter breaking concepts, aesthetics and details • Excellent communication skills • Any kind of experience in Beauty / Lifestyle / FMCG / E-commerce brands is a desirable trait • Willingness to learn and perform under tight deadlines
