The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video editing software. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging content that aligns with our brand's vision and goals. Your expertise in various editing techniques and software will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall quality of our video projects.
Responsibilities
• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting or online distribution.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe After Effects and Adobe Bridge, to create visually compelling content.
• Incorporate motion graphics and 3D animation as needed to enhance storytelling.
• Manage content through various content management systems to ensure efficient workflow.
• Perform photo manipulation and color correction to improve visual aesthetics.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure all assets are properly archived for future use.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new editing techniques to continually improve skills.
Qualifications
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience with motion graphics, film editing, and 3D animation is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with content management systems for effective project organization.
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and storytelling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and feedback within the team.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required for consideration.
