Job Overview
The VP – Government Relations Policy will lead IESA's engagement with various government bodies and policy advocacy efforts for the Electronics System Design Manufacturing (ESDM) sectors including Semiconductors.
This role involves representing the interests of the Semiconductor and electronics industry, advocating for policies that promote industry growth and innovation, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in semiconductor/ESDM, and a strong understanding of policy frameworks, regulatory environments, industry trends and Government department Interactions and Public speaking skillsets with technology background.

Key Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics/Computer Engg. MBA or advanced degree in Public Policy or Law would be an advantage.
· Experience: 15-20 years of experience in the semiconductor, ESDM, or electronics manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in government relations, policy advocacy, or Industry Body role.
· Knowledge: Deep understanding of India's semiconductor policy landscape, government Policies and incentives, regulations, and industry trends. Familiarity with global and Indian semiconductor and electronics value chains is a plus.
· Preferably Worked at Meity / Connects with Meity.
