Job Description
SuperGaming builds the best real-time multiplayer games and game engines out of India. From hit titles like MaskGun and Silly Royale to the game engine powering made-in-India games like Indus, we’re shaping the future of gaming with tech at the core.
We are looking for a skilled and creative VFX Artist to design and implement high-quality real-time visual effects for our mobile games. You’ll work closely with the art, design, and engineering teams to deliver visually appealing, optimized, and stylistically cohesive effects that elevate gameplay and storytelling.Key Responsibilities
• Create stylized and realistic VFX such as explosions, magic spells, environment effects, and UI animations for mobile platforms.
• Work within game engines (Unity/Unreal) to integrate VFX assets into gameplay and cinematics.
• Collaborate with designers and artists to ensure VFX enhances user experience and game readability.
• Optimize visual effects for performance on a wide range of mobile devices.
• Maintain consistency with the overall art direction of the game.
• Troubleshoot and fix any VFX-related bugs or performance issues.
Experience & Skills Required
• 2+ years of professional experience as a VFX Artist in game development, preferably mobile.
• Proficiency in Unity (or Unreal Engine) and VFX tools such as Particle Systems, Shuriken, Niagara, or Cascade.
• Experience with Photoshop, After Effects, and 3D software (Maya, Blender, etc.) for texture and mesh generation.
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals and color theory for mobile game development.
• Familiarity with mobile performance constraints and optimization techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
