Job Description
Pixie Ice Cream (Sulles Pty Ltd) is looking for a full-time Vat Washer to join our Team.
A TASTE OF THE ROLE
Conduct CIP (Cleaning in Place) and COP (Cleaning out of Place) cleaning of Vats, Churns, Valves, Pumps and Lines ensuring that the required cleanliness is maintained to the highest standards.
Conduct titration testing of diluted chemical to ensure correct chemical strengths are present during the cleaning process.
Complete the day-to-day Maintenance as per Maintenance data base.
Support the Production Team by conducting miscellaneous duties as required.
Use computer systems to completed a wide range of tasks.
Ordering of chemical from store room as required
REQUIREMENTS
Full-time attendance required
Showing focus and attention to quality and safety on a daily base.
Documentation and records correctly completed, and within allocated time frames.
Flexibility and adaptability to re-prioritise tasks as required.
No micro contamination due to un-serviced parts
Previous experience in a food production / manufacturing environment (Factory)
Exceptionally high standard of detail and cleaning
Trained and experienced in Chemical handling and storage
Trained and experienced in General Maintenance practices (GMP)
Previous experience with data documentation.
Proven ability to problem-solve.
Proven ability to work in a team environment.
Proven ability to work alone.
Intermediate computer literacy, Mathematical abilities, and English skills
Proven experience in meeting employment-related KPI’s
Flexibility with work hours i.e., able to work shift work and short notice change
